Keyport Pivot 2.0 Review: A Fully Customizable Modular Key Organizer for EDC
Welcome back, friends, to Surviving the Daily. I hope everyone is surviving well. Today we’re taking a look at a seriously impressive piece of EDC gear — a full Keyport kit that the company sent over for the channel. Inside the box we’ve got the Pivot 2.0 Key Organizer, along with several modular attachments including tools, a light, a knife, and even a digital business card.
I’ve carried the Keyport Moca Tool on my keychain for years, and it’s become one of the most useful little gadgets I own. So seeing what the full Pivot 2.0 system can do? Yeah… I’m excited.
Let’s get into it.

What’s in the Kit?
Keyport sent over a complete setup so we could get the full experience. Here’s everything laid out:
Keyport x Pavlok Digital ME Key 2.0
A digital business card module that attaches directly to the Pivot. I’ve always wanted a digital card — having it on my keys is even better.
Keyport Pivot 2.0 Key Organizer
The backbone of the system. Holds 2–8 keys, but it’s also the mounting point for every module Keyport makes.
Neba Knife Module
Uses 8Cr13MoV steel. Compact, sharp, and attaches directly to the Pivot.
Pocket Flare 2.0 Flashlight
- 90 lumens max
- USB-C rechargeable
- Multiple modes including a side light
Bright, compact, and attaches cleanly.
Black Faceplate
One example of many faceplate designs Keyport offers for customizing your build.
Brush Tool
Used for removing modules or the faceplate. Also doubles as a SIM card eject tool and even works on old CD-ROM emergency eject holes (yes, I remember those days).
Moca Tool
My old reliable. Bottle opener, pry tool, multiple hex sizes, rope/box cutter, and ruler. I’m thrilled to have a second one.
Pivot 2.0: A Closer Look
Before assembling the full setup, let’s look at the Pivot itself.
Key Features
- 6061 aluminum side plates
- Thick rubber band spine with D-ring for attaching lanyards or car keys
- Holds 2–8 keys (with spacers if running minimal loadout)
- Spring washer system that creates that satisfying ratcheting feel
- Lost & found system
- Register at Keyport.com/ID
- Includes a reward card
- Serial number etched inside the chassis
The build quality is tight — no rattling, no flex, no cheap parts. Classic Keyport engineering.
Assembly & Setup
After removing my keys from my old keychain, I started building out the Pivot 2.0. Here’s the order:
- Spring washer (very important — allows compression)
- “Reward If Found” card
- My two primary keys
- Brush Tool
- Moca Tool
- Digital ME Card
Because I wasn’t using a minimal setup, I didn’t need the included spacers. Once everything was lined up, I installed the male pin and tightened it down. That click-click-click sound you hear? That’s the spring washer doing its job.
With everything mounted, the Pivot felt rock-solid. No rattle, no slop — just clean rotation and instant access.
Adding the Modules
Neba Knife
Snaps onto the Pivot using the module rail. Clean, secure, and easy to deploy.
Pocket Flare 2.0 Flashlight
Also snaps in place.
Modes include:
- Low: 4 lumens
- High: 33 lumens
- Side light: 90 lumens
- Momentary high: Hold button while off
- Press + hold while on: Immediate off
Very intuitive and surprisingly bright for its size.
Faceplate
Adds a finished look and gives the entire system a sleek profile.
Real-World Impressions
This setup is fun.
It’s also functional, compact, and customizable in a way most key organizers simply can’t match.
Keyport’s modular system is the big win here — you can add or remove tools, lights, plates, and digital modules anytime. And this is only a portion of what they offer. There are dozens of accessories and cosmetic upgrades available.
If you love customizing your EDC, the Pivot 2.0 is going to scratch that itch.
