HOKOLITE LEXALL E6 Review: A Chunky Flat Flashlight With 2000 Lumens

Today we are taking a look at the HOKOLITE LEXALL E6 Flashlight, a new-to-me flat flashlight that immediately reminded me of a bigger, chunkier cousin to the Klarus E5 Plus.

I do not believe the companies are related, but the resemblance is hard to miss. The Lexall E6 is much larger, wider, and heavier, but that bigger size also brings some useful features.

The HOKOLITE LEXALL E6 has a flat flashlight design, spot lighting, flood lighting, UV, RGB lighting, USB-C charging, and up to 2,000 lumens.

Build and Materials

The Lexall E6 is built from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with an anodized finish.

The instructions and website mention ABS plastic somewhere in the design, though it is not immediately clear whether that refers to the tail section, lenses, or another component.

The anodized finish provides scratch-resistant protection, and the flashlight has an IPX6 water-resistant rating along with a 1.5 meter drop-resistant rating.

Size and Weight

The HOKOLITE LEXALL E6 measures:

  • Length: 4.52 inches
  • Width: 1.73 inches
  • Thickness: 0.62 inches
  • Weight: 5.82 ounces

This is definitely a chunky flat flashlight. Compared to the Klarus E5 Plus, it is approximately the same length, but about twice as wide and twice as thick.

It is also quite large compared to a Bugout-style folding knife.

Battery and Charging

The Lexall E6 has a built-in 2,000 mAh lithium polymer battery.

It charges by USB Type-C and HOKOLITE lists the charge time at around 3 hours.

The flashlight also includes a rubber cover over the charging port.

Output and Throw

The Lexall E6 has a maximum output of 2,000 lumens and a maximum throw of 200 meters.

It includes forward-facing LEDs for spot-style output and a side/front-facing light for flood-style output.

Magnetic Tail and Pocket Clip

The flashlight does have a magnetic tail, though it is not especially strong.

It can hold vertically, but it struggles to hold itself horizontally.

The Lexall E6 also has a strong single-direction pocket clip. It offers lens-up carry and can be clipped to a baseball cap if desired.

I do wish the clip was dual-direction so the light could be carried lens-down as well.

Controls and Modes

The Lexall E6 uses dual switches.

One switch controls the forward-facing LEDs, while the other controls the flood/side light and RGB functions.

The flashlight offers eight total modes, including spotlight, floodlight, UV, and RGB options.

It also has a charging indicator and RGB LEDs built into the body.

Color Temperature and CRI

The HOKOLITE LEXALL E6 has a color temperature of 6000K and a CRI of 75.

Spotlight Output

The forward-facing spotlight has two main brightness levels:

  • Medium: 1,000 lumens, 6-hour runtime
  • High: 2,000 lumens, 2-hour runtime, 200-meter throw

The light also has a memory reset feature. If the light is left on for more than five seconds, the next click turns it off.

UV Mode

After cycling through medium and high on the forward-facing light, the next mode activates UV.

The UV feels quite strong, so avoid looking directly at it and use caution around skin and eyes.

Floodlight Output

The floodlight also has two brightness levels:

  • Medium: 1,000 lumens, 5-hour runtime
  • High: 2,000 lumens, 1.5-hour runtime, 100-meter throw

When the floodlight is shut off, there is a glowing ring around the LED, which is a nice little detail.

RGB Modes

A double tap activates the RGB modes.

The RGB lighting cycles through different modes and gives the flashlight a bit of a retro video game vibe.

Recommended Uses

HOKOLITE recommends this light for camping, but it could also make sense for:

  • Vehicle glove boxes
  • Truck kits
  • Toolboxes
  • EDC bags
  • Go bags
  • Emergency prep bags
  • Camping kits

Final Thoughts

The HOKOLITE LEXALL E6 is a bigger, chunkier flat flashlight, but it has not disappointed so far.

It offers a useful mix of spot, flood, UV, RGB lighting, USB-C charging, and up to 2,000 lumens in a flat body design.

The magnetic tail could be stronger, and I would have liked a dual-direction pocket clip, but overall this is a practical and versatile flashlight for EDC, work, camping, vehicle kits, and emergency use.
